As a traveler living in the US, I have frequented Hostels many times. When I researched USA-LA I was hoping that the hostel would live up to its reviews and photos. I was pleased in every way, from the decor to the people. The Euro Lounge, as I dubbed it, was a great place to meet people from all over in a safe and controlled environment. The staff rivaled that of 5-star hotels I have stayed in, and everyone was super cool. Location was close enough to be in the mix but not in the slums. A+ RICHARD, from USA ~ 9th Feb 2012

A great place to stay, I had a great time, and was run so professionally that you'd think it was a 5 star hotel. Had a great social atmosphere, and right in the middle of all the action. The only bad thing was there transport to the beach was not working and that ruined that idea. We were all fairly disappointed as LA has lousy transport .
We hated too that our van was down. We had to buy a new one, so the shuttle is up and running now. We are glad you enjoyed your stay despite this.

I really liked this hostel, it was well organized, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the security was good and the location, just off Hollywood Boulevard was excellent. I really liked the shuttle service to and from the airport and the activities organized by the hostel. It's easy to meet new people and since I was travelling on my own that was a big plus for me.
