The hotel was extremely clean (which for me was the most important factor) and right in the middle of the old town which was a perfect location. The owner met us at the hotel entrance and was really very friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend this hostel to anyone heading to San Sebastian. We stayed three nights at this hostel. It was really clean, and each room had a little balcony with doors that opened wide, which was really nice. The owner/operator was very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend this hostel. Nicole, from Canada ~ 10th May 2011

The only bad thing I can say about this hostel is that there is no shared space to see other hostel residents. You just kinda awkwardly bump in the hallways. However this location was the best of any hostel I've stayed in. The beds were clean and comfy and there was a TV in the room. Three bathrooms which were all clean and hostel caretaker cleaned every morning. He was very accommodating, we didn't leave until 5 and he let us keep our stuff in our room. Really great place, fantastic location, and the guy who runs it is really nice and helpful.One downside is that there is no kitchen, no refrigeration, and no filtered water.These are things I would not have thought of beforehand but were kind of a bummer, especially if you are staying for an extended period and want to keep some food around.Other than that, fantastic place!
