YMCA is the cleanest, newest, nicest and with the most friendly staff ever.. But- the only bad thing about this is the location.. Basel is not THE place to go to.. We were bored going here.. But if you do go- you should definetly stay at YMCA :)

One of the best hostels ever. 5 minutes by walk from the train station, very clean, really new furniture, free Internet and free transit pass (including to the Euroairport). And the price is very reasonable.

Located just on the other side of the trainstation from the city center.
