Yangtze River International Youth Hostel dans Chengdu, China

The rooms are quite run down+when 1 morning our room door wouldnt close they tried to get us to pay for a new (bigger) room.They realy should taste their cooking as it's got loads of chilli seeds in it and not much flavor,even the pizza!The coffee is great though!Only do the chinese Yangtzi river cruise if u dont have much money+are prepared to pay for lots of extras like going outside on deck.The guide also didnt know which tours we were on+ignored us when we tried to get our ticket off her.

Hi, Thank you for your comments and stay in our hostel.I'm so sorry to hear about that you have had ubhappy experience here.And you must not like the chongqing local hot dishes.On the chinese cruise,the guide only can speak chinese.I'm sure We must help the pepole write some more useful chinees .

While Chongqing was not my favorite city I've visited in China, this was my favorite hostel. It had a great relaxing vibe, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the bar food was delicious! If you're staying in Chongqing, you shouldn't stay anywhere else! This is probably one of the best hostels we have stayed at in China, however DO NOT BUY THE YANGTZE RIVER TRIP HERE. They provided us with wrong information, and sold us a 4 days/3 nights cruise that turned out only to be a 3 days/2 nights cruise when we arrived at the boat. Seems to be far from the city center.

Hello, The boat company and the guide who should be responsible for this have both made the attention:the schedule of the Cruise called YANGTZE NO.1 was delayed because of the weather,so it arrived in Chongqing the following morning and departed chongqing at the afternoon,one night was delayed.we had had told you that it would leave in the afternoon.The Cruise was so busy and we tried to appy for two space for our guests.Everyone can check the information about the boat on any travel website,it's 4 dyas/3 nights cuise .What had happended couldn't be controlled by anybody .We think you have had a nice trip on the river .so sorry for the inconvenience.
