Youth Hostel Salamanca dans Salamanca, Spain

Minimal kitchen/fridge/common room. the computer was broken. no lockers. i saw a bedbug, but didn't get bitten. all in all, not a bad hostel. nice location, pretty cheap, and dorms big enough to meet people. they charge you a euro to store your bag, though, which i thought was bullshit. The dorms were clean, but the girls' toilets were not; what's more, two out of the three toilet cubicle doors were hanging off the hinges and therefore couldn't be used, and the third one wouldn't lock at all. There is also a lack of facilities - no lockers, no means of preparing food (apart from a microwave) and no Internet access. Good location, though.

The day before you arrived, some people stayed in the Hostel broke the bathrooms. We are not guilty :). Apologies for it. We have a FREE!!!!!!!!!!!! internet wireless connection

While the beds were clean and the location was fairly good, I have to admit that the security and lavatory arrangements were poorly planned. First off, there were no lockers or adequate luggage storage. This might not be a problem, but the people at the desk didn´t really check the visitors as they came into the building, and the dorm rooms did not have key access. Also, there was only 1 non-communal bathroom for every dorm room, each of which contained about 20 people. And while thankfully the Owen, from USA ~ 22nd Feb 2009
