Ponsonby Backpackers is perfectly located in one of the most historical, funky and central areas of Auckland. We are a small & friendly little travellers haven, run by backpackers for backpackers. Our managers and staff have travelled extensively and so know what it is that travellers want and desire; a place to call home.

*Information about Hostel Upgrade* As we are continuously trying to improve our lovely hostel, we will be starting work to re-paint the exterior of our building from 20th November onward, towards christmas. This work will involve an exterior scaffold around the building and sanding and cleaning preparation. Work will start from 8.30am each morning but no earlier. We apologise for any disruption this may cause guests though any disruption should be very minimal if at all. Exciting changes :-)
