You can sleep when you're dead so DON'T expect to get any sleep here.

Grandio is one of the only true party places on this earth that welcomes alcoholics, lost souls and party people with talent but no direction. It’s a living, breathing creature that is constantly evolving – the place with a crazy cult following. As well as all that we are in a great location (especially if you like drinking) as we are in the heart of the bar district and everywhere is within walking distance. The only rules we have are about respecting our guests and neighbours and the city noise curfew, other than that we want you to have a wild time and meet amazing people with the same ideas about how to party.

Every night the Grandio crew will take you out for some of the best nights of your trip. These range from backpackers’ costume parties, Pub Crawls, Party Boats, Spa Parties, our own Budapest Party Hostels Open Mic Night and more, all of which take you to our favorite (plus some of the cheapest) bars in the city. If you feel like doing something a little different, never fear, as our staff have their finger on the pulse of the city's nightlife and are able to recommend different nightly activities depending on your tastes.

The staff have all been hand picked to party with the guests and show them the best Grandio and Budapest has to offer. They can also offer some great advice of things to do in the city and can give you a full rundown of what to see and do when you arrive. It doesn’t matter whether you want to see the sights or just need to know where the nearest 24hr bar is!

The place itself is over 150 years old, is heritage listed by the city and has been decorated by street artists from around the world. So the imaginative amongst you might appreciate the fact that all of our rooms and the facade, are decorated by the best street artists of Budapest and have been added to by global artists who liked what they saw and wanted to make it even better.

Our hostel has a mix of basic dorm rooms some with en suite and some with shared bathrooms (if you're lucky, a loo with a view), electronic key entry system and with varying numbers of beds. Don’t worry though you won’t be sleeping much.

During the day, hang out in our courtyard enjoying BBQ's, drinking next to the fire pit, playing some flip pong or drinking strawpedoes with the staff... these are all ways in which we fuel our thirsty and party-hardy guests. If you’re not too hungover during the day, we can organise daytime activities for you such as entry into the world famous thermal baths, adventure caving, escape houses, paintballing, beer biking, shooting and many more. For those of you traveling in large groups (Stag/Hen partys, University groups ect) make sure you contact us ahead of time to book these activities as our close relationship with party coordinators in the city can get you far cheaper deals than tourist party planning companies offer.

If you are lucky enough to come to Grandio in the winter you will find the party atmosphere still going strong. Open bonfires sitting in the snow and cooking meals whilst downing beers or mulled wine is one of our favorite ways to pre-game before a big night out. The inside common room space increases inside to make plenty of room for drinking games and late night parties and if you are lucky you will get to experience the infamous anal room.

Please note:

**Disclaimer** - From June 16th the 4/6 Tram line will be going through temporary renovation works between Oktogon and Harminckettesek tere (which means Blaha included). There will be replacement buses running at each stop instead.
The M3 Metro line is also under refurbishment so there are currently replacement buses along that line also.

From Liszt Ferenc Airport:
1.The easiest, cheap, option is the MiniBUD airport shuttle, is a door to door service that you can take to for from the airport, we can arrange transfers to and from the airport for about a third of the price of a taxi; 3500huf (around 10 Euros) per person. PLEASE NOTE: We need 24HRS to organize the airport transfer, just drop us an email for us to set it up
2.The 100E bus takes you directly to Astoria intersection, and from there you can walk NW up Rakoczi utca and take a left on Nagy Diofa utca where we are #8. You can get it from directly outside the departures lounge. Or...
Get the 200E shuttle bus (buy ticket for metro/tram 350 hufs each to avoid fine) to Kobanya Kispest. From here take the metro north towards Ujpest Kospont. Get off at Corvin Negyed metro station, from there you catch 4/6 tram in the direction of Szell Kalman ter for 3 stops which will be Blaha Lujza ter. Walk down Rakoczi Ut (Away from McDonalds) until you come to Nagy Diofa Utca on your right-hand side. Turn right and continue straight. Grandio is just over the first block on the left-hand side. We are the brown gate on the left-hand side with the sign 'Grandio', it is no. 8.
3.The easiest and by far most expensive is taxi but be warned; you must visit the official taxi booth to book a taxi, they're located at the exits of the arrivals lounge. Getting in any taxi may result in getting an unregistered taxi and that could mean paying waaaayy too much. The official taxi will cost anywhere from 8000huf - 10,000huf depending on traffic. (20-30 euros)

From there turn right and then then left into Nagy Diofa utca. We are the brown gate on the left-hand side with the sign 'Grandio', it is no. 8.
