L'Amenano Bed & Breakfast est situé entre la place Dôme et la place de l'Université ( coeur baroque du centre historique de Catane, toujours considérée comme la plus grande expression de l'architecture Sicilienne et déclarée patrimoine de l'Unesco.)
Il est placé au deuxième et dernier étage d'un élégant palais nobiliaire du Settecento d'intérêt historique et architectural.
Le soir, il suffit de descendre dans la rue pour se retrouver projeter en plein centre des "Café Concerto"dans la vie nocturne locale nommée la "Movida Catanese" ou l'on peut rencontrer des locaux atypiques et les pubs les plus à la mode.
Le jour, tous les monuments les plus importants se trouvent a proximité, dans le coeur de la Ville de Catane; le Dôme, le Théâtre Gréco-romain, la Fontaine de l' Amenano, la Poissonnerie (historique et folklorique marché du poisson de la ville), le historique Palais du Siège Central de l' Université, rue Crociferi et tout ce qu'on trouve dans le "Vrai Coeur de la Ville de Catania".
C'est sans aucun doute le meilleur gîte que Catane peut offrir à ceux qui viennent la visiter. La position stratégique du B&B permet aussi de rejoindre la mer comme la montagne avec facilité ; le gare , le port et l'aéroport sont facilement accessibles par les moyens de transports publics. The Amenano B&B has been recently renovated by its owner, an architect by profession, who, while maintaining the elegance of its historical structure, has inserted a touch of modernization and convenience. He has managed to develop an elegant ambiance by utilizing the available vertical space by creating a loft in every room. Departing from the traditional B&B's, every room is a mini apartment, totally independent from the rest of the building, and developed on two levels by way of an internal staircase. These mini apartments can accommodate up to four persons - two of whom are accommodated in the spacious loft area. Each room has a balcony overlooking typical historic center streets, leading up to the Via Etnea and the Palazzo degli Elefanti, and surrounded by beautiful baroque buildings. Each room has been developed to provide maximum comfort - in fact Amenano B&B is classified in the '3 Star' category. Each mini apartment has its own full private bathroom, mini bar, TV, air conditioner, direct Internet ADSL access and elegantly furnished. Although the B&B is located in the center of town, all rooms are spacious and airy with a quiet and serene atmosphere where one can relax in tranquility. Maximum hygiene and cleanliness are guaranteed - all rooms are cleaned on a daily basis and linen (sheets and towels) are also changed daily.
