Deejai Backpackers is a lively guesthouse with a vibrant social scene located in a quiet part of Chiang Mai's old city, only 15 min walk from Thapae Gate and the main tourist bars. Our garden with its pool table and bamboo huts is the perfect place to unwind by day and meet new people at night.
Our dorm rooms are 3 BED ONLY with ensuite, we also have a range of private rooms to suite to needs of most travevers.
Our fan dorms are 99 and 125BHT
Our Air-con dorms are 175BHT
In our newly renovated canteen we serve fresh coffee and cakes, Thai and western food (including the best available pure beef burgers in town).
Our fridge is stocked with the usual local beers along with a couple of foreign lagers. wine coolers and Smirnoff / Bacardi mixers.
Our friendly Thai and English speaking staff are more than happy to assist you with any information and or travel arrangements you may need.
For your safety, we have CCTV that covers all areas, as well as safety deposit lockers..

Very good place to stay. They have a cool garden but not sure how much longer it will exist. It's quite clean there and easy to meet people. Worth the money. I wonder if all hostels in Thailand don't provide tissue in toilets...I stayed in two and neither of them does. Wei, from China ~ 9th Apr 2013

Nice hostel. It is really easy to meet people because of the various common areas. Staff is helpfull if you need help. It is also really cheap which is nice. Security might be an issue because there is no locker in the rooms. It is only a common area where there are way less lockers than people staying, which means that you have good chances of not having any locker for your stuff...Also, there is only 1 computer working, which is not enough for the quantity of people staying there.
