We are a small, friendly, family-owned and run hostel approx. 5 mins from the heart of Christchurch. Relax and stay awhile.
**Check in only after 12pm - last check in time is 10pm.**
What we provide to our guests...
* FREE internet - in library.
* WiFi available in your room . (FREE $2 voucher - per device - then 10c per MB)
* FREE meal on Wednesdays (BBQ's in the Summer)
* FREE tea, coffee and spices
* FREE herbs and some vegies available in our garden
* TV lounge with SKY TV and DVD's
* Book exchange
* Board games
* Large fully-equipped kitchen
* Unisex and women's only bathrooms
* Garden with BBQ area, hammocks, herb garden
* Car parking for 6 vehicles (on a first in - first served basis).
* All our beds are fully made up with sheets, duvet and pillow/pillowslips. No sleeping bags are allowed.
* Dorms - 4 beds per room (i.e. 2 sets of bunks) - no large bunk rooms.
* Please Note: There are no lockers in the rooms. However we do have a Safe if you wish to store any valuables for the duration of your stay.
* Office hours - 9:00am to 9:00pm.
* PLEASE NOTE: We will only late take check ins up to 10:00pm. NO CHECK INS after 10:00pm.
* Payment is due on checking in. Once you have made your payment, NO REFUNDS will be made (unless in exceptional circumstances).
* CANCELLATIONS - We require 48 hrs notice of your cancellation. If you cancel within the 48hr period you will be charged the equivalent of 1 night's accommodation.
* NO SHOW - You will be charged the equivalent of 1 night's accommodation.
* Check out - 10am. If you want to stay longer, you will need to notify us prior to checking out.
* We provide all linen. No sleeping bags to be used in beds.
* No smoking in rooms or anywhere inside the building - smoking is allowed only in designated area outside.
* ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED IN MODERATION. No consumption of alcohol on our premises after 11:00pm - NO EXCEPTIONS. We will not tolerate drunken behaviour.
* No cooking allowed after 11:00pm.
* Quiet zone between 11pm and 8am.
* Please respect our property and the property of your fellow travellers.

Really cool hostel with nice staff and central location! Only negative point: only 20MB free internet, then really expensive and no heaters in the hostel rooms. Can get cold in winter. Kathleen, from Germany ~ 9th Jun 2013
