Oughterard is a charming village on the shores of Lough Corib only 25Km from Galway City, also known as the internationaly renowend beauty spot and Brown Trout Fishery.
It is the ideal center to tour Connemara and the West, enjoying it's magnificent scenery or the 'Craic'.
Oughterard Holiday Hostel and Angling Centre, is situated 1Km from the Village center. It is a purpose built Hostel. All rooms are en-suite and it has a fully equipped Kitchen, living room and private secure parking at the House, we also have two spring fed angling lakes beside the Hostel, angling for Rainbow and Brown Trout, tuition in fly casting and gear hire.
Please note, last check-in is 11.00Hs. Please note Groups of five or more are subject to a noise and damage deposit of 20 per person; which is fully refundable upon check-out provided House rules and other Guests are respected. Photo ID is required to book in.
