Cheers Midtown take over the management in 2011, Cheers Midtown is a cozy boutique hostel located in the heart of the typical Ottoman district of Beyoglu. Its prime location allows easy walking access to main transport systems (tram/ferry at the end of the street) and is located only 10 minutes walk to Galata Bridge connecting you to the Egyptian Spice Bazaar, Fish Market and an abundance of other tourist attractions Sultanahmet will delight you by. Istiklal Street is only minutes away providing the gateway to the bustling nightlife of Tunel & the many caf�s, bars, roof top terraces and memorable Meyhanes of Beyoglu.
Cheers Midtown has 11 rooms available (doubles,triples,twin,singles) all equipped with large new beds and spacious lockers for your personal belongings. There is Wi-Fi and computers for guest usage in the common room.
We pride ourselves on our new facilities being clean and tidy and your stay here to be as easy & comfortable as possible. Our cheery and friendly personnel await you, so please provide us with your arrival time so we can ensure your beds are ready for you!

Istanbul is one of the oldest and biggest city in the world. Therefore, in order to facilitate your travel you should lodge in the most proper location. However, if wish to travel in the old city during daytime, to walk on the streets in the evening, to go shopping, and to visit café and bars, then welcome to our hostel because we are at a distance of 4 tramway stops from the historical region (20 minutes by walking). Going to Istiklal Street (Beyoglu) which is the most famous street of Turkey takes 5 minutes only by walking.We are at a distance of only 2 minutes by walking from Tophane Station of the Tramway. That is to say, you will not walk together with suitcases for a long time when you arrive at Istanbul.
The district where our hostel exists in is a 577 years typical Ottoman district. Our district is celebrated for that Christian, Jewish, and Muslim peoples have been coexisting peacefully for centuries. Italian Consulate, Italian High School, and Crimean Church are at a distance of a few steps.

It is one of the best hostels I\'ve ever stayed. The owner is so so nice: cooked for us and tried his best to introduce hightlights for me. Also, the room is quite clean and the location of the hostel is very convient, both for going to airport and city center! Yu, from China ~ 23rd Jul 2012

The owner of the hostel smokes and you can smell this in the rooms. Not very pleasant in the morning. Also the hostel was repainted and a wall was taken down during our stay, but we only found this out on the day. Would have been nice if someone had told us in advance. When the stairs were painted, we couldn\'t access our room during the day. The owner apologised afterwards, but by then the damage was already done... Fay, from Netherlands ~ 10th Jul 2012
