Staigue Fort House Bar & Bed & Breakfast has been around for a hundred years and the house retains that old world feel. Our cosy bar with open fire is popular with musicians.
Our facilities include an exhibition on local archaeology, a cafe, reading room, and WiFi. There is lots of outdoor seating on the veranda and by the wild flower meadow.The bedrooms are quiet, bright and airy with high ceilings and large sash windows looking over the surrounding countryside .
Enjoy a hearty breakfast in the residents' breakfast room. Packed lunches and traditional Irish evening meals can be arranged. On Sundays we have a barbecue - Euro 5 for choice of chicken, burger or steak with freshly made salads, coleslaw and baked potatoes. Satisfying!
Staigue Fort House Bar & Bed & Breakfast is on the Kerry Way walking route and the Ring of Kerry, close to mountains, rivers, lakes and sea. Staying with us offers a nice opportunity to meet people and share stories about the day's excitement.
