A bit about us...
We are four enthusiastic people, from Holland and Peru, with lots of travel experience. Like most backpackers, we thought we could do a better job with a hostel. So we took our chances, found a building in Lima and started our hostel. It worked out better than we ever thought and within a year we were given the opportunity to start a second business in Mancora.

Friendly, helpful staff. Sower in our room didn't work well but those in other rooms did. Couches could use and upward and hammocks could be added - would be nice to have more eating in common areas. Wifi not working at the beginning but fixed by the time we left. Lockers big enough for your entire backpack. Nice, clean pool. Overall good value. Nathan, from USA ~ 14th Jan 2013

All in all Kokopelli is a good choice in Mancora. The atmosphere is nice, the staff is very helpful (for example: booking bus trips, surf lessons, etc.) and they have a really nice bar area. In my eyes the rooms could be cleaner. The hostel has some dogs and cats and they are strolling around you all day and also using the outdoor facilities, at night the dogs are really loud, so that its difficult to have a relaxing sleep.
