Happy Valley Hale (pronounce hah-lay which means 'house') is the place to stay if you're looking for a budget-priced rental without the bunk bed atmosphere.
Come and stay with us in our clean, comfortable, and cheery hostel where there are only 12 beds in all.
Each deluxe private room or shared room has extra-long twin-sized beds, a dresser, closet and service-sized refrigerator. The shared kitchen has a microwave, toaster and coffee-maker along with dishes & cutlery. There are two clean shared bathrooms and coin-operated laundry machines.
You can sit outside in the front garden or watch cable TV in our cosy living room. Free wireless internet is available during evening hours.
We're a Native Hawaiian family who takes great pride in the operation and ownership of this well-kept hostel.
We know that our 'no party' atmosphere is not for everyone - and we like a good party. But Happy Valley Hale Hostel is for those guests looking for a cosier place to return to at the end of a busy day of touring Maui.

It is fine obviously not a hotel room but a decent price (for 2 people) in a centralized location of Maui. If you are solo you pay for 2 beds (in a 2 bed room) but still cheaper than the hotels.
