Hostel Independencia is located in the heart of downtown Mendoza, few steps from the Independencia Square, the center of concerts, recreational and cultural activities. This restored old mansion was built in 1910, giving the hostel an incomparable atmosphere and ample spaces.

So glad we chose this hostel! It was a perfect mix of relaxing and fun. The hostel has a patio for eating as well as several well-maintained common areas, and happy-hour with free wine as well as asados on the weekends were a great way to mingle with other travelers. The staff were friendly, professional, and went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. The excursions especially vineyard tours with Mike`s Bikes were excellent!
