We are nearby Corso Buenos Aires, one of the Milan's most popular streets, perfect for shopping and for delicious Italian restaraunts, ice-cream shops, bakeries, bars and a cinema!
The surrounding neighborhood and Porta Venezia zone are extremely safe at night and easily connected to the rest of the city by bus, metro and tram. The city's main sights, Duomo, Castello Sforzesco, Cenacolo Vinciano (The Last Supper) are also a short distance away, so you can reach them by walking or with the help of the best public transportation that Milan has to offer.

Don't go there. The hostel was small, but with a big smell. It was smelly in the toilets - in the hall though, the smell was covered up by a gross old ladies perfume, which made matters even worse. The room was lid by a cold neon-like hospitallight, which certainly didn't contribute to the atmosphere. The breakfast was almost non-existing and thus contained only un-toasted toastbread. La Corte was a decent hostel my main grouse is to do with the location. We spent 1 hour traversing up and down the street, trying to locate the hostel! It seems the street has a break in it and then continues again! Otherwise, the room was fine, though there was renovation going on. Breakfast was quite spartan, but adequate.
