You can enjoy breakfast at any time in the morning ! During the summer you can have breakfast on our terrace.
In the rush season be prepared to share double beds, we have very few single beds. We also open our annexe nearby. At 4244 de Lorimier street. So if Henri Julien is full or if you prefer we'll take you there. The house is newer and the rooms bigger.
We also offer our guests free internet, a public phone service, TV, satelite, video, hammock, piano and many more facilities.
Our staff will give you a warm welcome, as well as advice and recommendations for outings within the city itself as well as in the surrounding areas. We also offer longer stay possibilities.
We don't have credit card facilities here, so have some cash or travellers checks.

With only a single night stay I felt right at home at Chez Jean. The hostel is in a great neighborhood and the main room is filled with character. Had a great time chatting with the girl running the desk - it was super homely (on such a cold windy night). The bed was comfy for a hostel and they even gave nice touches such as keeping the lamp on late at night beside my bed so I could get to it without stumbling in the dark. Highly recommended!
