Welcome to quaint Hostel-Museum Red Star = HMRS!
It\'s very cognitive. HMRS - is tourist and art project.
Our design will surprise you. To spend the night in a �fairy tale� or in �prison\' - it\'s wonderful! Night at the Museum will add your experiences!
HMRS is small and the atmosphere is warmer and staff has more time for you. We have museum inside and a sea of humor). This project attracts an interesting party.
There are in HMRS rest zone, kitchen, where you can cook, free internet wifi, PC, lockers and porridge with tea.
Hostel-Museum Red Star is located 34 minutes from the Kremlin: 24 minutes by subway and 10 minutes by walk (= 2 bus stop). To get from the Hostel to the Kremlin is simple: by subway from station 'Bibirevo' (Hostel) to station 'Borovitskaya' (Kremlin).

By Subway
Moscow Subway = metro.
HMRS is located near the metro station "Bibirevo". Metro operates from 5:25 am until 01:00 at night.

By walking from metro
If you come out of the first vagon of metro: whiff "KFC Rostiks", don`t cross the road, go diagonally to the side "Macdonald`s" and Trade Center "Alexander", behind this Trade Center is Prishvina St., by it go left, go past the intersection with Konenkova St. (1st traffic light), go by the Prishvina St. further, the 2nd intersection with traffic lights will be Muranovskaya St., cross the road, 2nd house on the right is our Hostel (12-storey house).
If you come out of the last vagon of metro: in underground crossing turn left and go to the end, you will exit to the shopping center "Million melochey", go behind the Trade Center on the right, and you will go out to the Prishvina St., go by it directly...

From Metrostation Bibirevo.
Take the exit nearest to the 1st metro wagon going away from Moscow`s center. When you emerge from the underground station you will see a KFC and a McDonalds. Follow the walkpath that goes from the KFC to the McDonalds and continue walking down the alley that runs along the side of the large building that houses McDonalds. You will run into Prishvina st. from that alley. Make a left a walk past one three-way intersection (Konenkova st.). Continue to the 2nd intersection (Muranovskaya st.) and make a right. Go straight down Muranovskaya st. We are on the right-hand side at Muranovskaya 4 and at entrance #3. The door code to front door entrance #3 is bell 100 bell.
From Airport
Warning! If you arrive late at night, you can leave the airport only by a taxi, which is better to order through us in advance, because it's cheaper. In HMRS the smallest prices for taxi in Moscow.
Sheremetyevo-2 Airport (International)
Train aeroexpress (250 rubles, 30-35 minutes, trains depart every 30-60 minutes, running from 5:00 to 23:30) to the metro station "Belaruskaya", then by the metro to the station "Bibirevo" (26 rubles, 22 minutes). By the way, in the return way the Aeroexpress stops near "Savelovskaya" metro station (15 minutes from station "Bibirevo").
Sheremetyevo-1 Airport (Internal)
To Aeroexpress, which departs from the Sheremetyevo-2, runs a special bus (free of charge, 20 minutes), commercial bus or minibus.
Also you can take a bus or minibus from outside the airport (25-50 rubles, about 30-40 minutes) to the metro station "Rechnoy vokzal" or "Planernaya", then by the metro to station "Bibirevo" (26 rubles, 40 minutes).
Domodedovo Airport
Train aeroexpress (250 rubles, 40-50 minutes, trains depart every 30 minutes, running from 7:00 to 0:00) to the metro station "Paveletskaya", then to the station "Bibirevo" (26 rubles, 30 minutes) .
Vnukovo Airport
Train aeroexpress (250 rubles, 35 minutes, running from 7:00 to 0:00) to the metro station "Kievskaya", then to station "Bibirevo" (22 rubles, 30 minutes). Or a minibus to the metro station "Yugo-Zapadnaya" (cost about 50 rubles, 30 minutes), then to station "Bibirevo" (26 rubles, 50 minutes).

This is not a hostel, at least not like the ones we´ve been before. Its more like a shared apartment. Anyway, its well decorated and clean. There is not proper staff, just a girl that lives there and tries to help you in basic english. Its kinda far from downtown(15 min walk plus 30 min train), but for the price is definetely worth it. The strangest hostel ever. You can get a feel of how a dozen russians manage to live in a three room apartment. An experience. Cristobal, from Chile ~ 31st Aug 2012

The ladies of the hostel barely speak english, communication with them is very hard. A lot of long-term residents who are not very friendly. Poor breakfast, only porridge. Location is okay, but with instructions it was a bit hard to find. Found it thanks to some friendly locals. Beds are really hard, but after one night you get used to it. No security, sometimes door is open and there is no lock at the door of the room. Spend 4 nights there. Esther, from Netherlands ~ 5th Jul 2012
