Paihia is in the Bay of Islands, Northland about 3
hours drive north of Auckland. Several bus companies have twice daily schedules from Auckland to Paihia.

Staff were really friendly. It was right in the centre, close to everything. Nice, clean room.Only down side is if the hostel is full there's not that much parking, but there is room on the street outside. Kathleen, from Ireland ~ 3rd Jan 2013
