The Jamraka, (which means "family" in Panamas indigenous natives Ngobe-Bugle tongue) is nestled within one of the most peaceful , green , and safest neighborhoods in Panama City. When you stay with us, you truly will feel like part of the Family.
Our friendly Guesthouse is located in the beautiful Balboa area of the city, at the foot of Cerro Ancon, Panama City's tallest peak. It is within a stones throw of the Canal, The Bridge of The Americas, and the Amador Causeway. We are also only a short trip from Casco Viejo, and downtown, without the stress of being right in the city. There are parks and wildlife right on our doorstep, and you will awake to the melodic sounds of a multitude of songbirds in our lovely garden.
During your stay at the Jamraka, you will have easy access (walking distance) to a multitude of grocery stores, restaurants, a post office and drugstore. The property offers WiFi, a laundry facility, a kitchenette, and a shared bathroom.

This is a nice place. A big house in a wealthy neighborhood. The owners really care about providing a nice experience (it seems, I did not interact with them that much myself) and are into the international thing they host exchange students and stuff. everett, from USA ~ 16th Apr 2013

Lovely stay, Jairo and Cachi were lovely and helpfull. It's located far from the downtown but that was a great thing for us, and It's a short distance from Casco Viejo and the Causeway (must See places!) Also the neighborhood is calm and beautiful. Vanesa, from Argentina ~ 19th Jan 2013
