The hostel is about a 25min walk from the central area around the main Plaza. It seems to be in a safe neighborhood though the area seems a bit run down. The owner is friendly and very helpful with tourist info. Andres, from Canada ~ 6th Jan 2013

This hostel was great! The owners were so nice and helpful, even letting us stay a good bit after we checked out. Even though the location is like a ten to fifteen minute walk from the center, the warm, homey feeling definitely makes it worth the distance. Joanna, from USA ~ 17th Dec 2012
