A hostel newly relocated and renovated in 2010, located a five-minute walk from Termini station and Piazza della Repubblica in central Rome, Hostel Mosaic is of the highest standard for budget accommodation in Italy.

The hostel spans two floors and provides the latest amenities, security and comfort for the independent traveller or anyone wishing to stay in peaceful, calm surroundings after an exhausting day sightseeing in the most exciting and beautiful city in the world.

We offer a wide range of dorms and private rooms varying from two beds to four beds. Our two-bed private rooms and dorms have their own air conditioning. Choose between ensuite facilities or standard, where the bathroom is situated on the corridors. All rooms have linen included and high-quality beds. Towels are available for hire or sale.

Lockers are available at reception. The whole hostel is covered by video surveillance making it comfortable and secure.

Guests can enjoy Internet access, plasma-screen TV and a free breakfast of tea, coffee, juice, toast and cereal.

Our reception is open 24 hours so there’s no curfew. We have international, friendly and multi-lingual speaking staff.

Our hostel is situated in a great central location just minutes’ walking distance to Piazza della Repubblica or a 20-30 minute walk to the city centre where you will find the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and much more. Just hop on the metro and it’s only a five-minute ride to all of these.

Close by the hostel you will find all of the amenities such as supermarkets, Laundromat and restaurants. Right next door you’ll find one of the oldest and most famous wine bars of Rome - Trimani.

We offer Wi-Fi access in the lobby as well as a free continental breakfast. There's also kitchen facilities.

Our friendly, multi-lingual staff are on-hand at reception 24hrs a day so there's no curfew. Late check-in is also accepted.

We have a 48hr cancellation policy. Cancellations must be made by email only at least 48hrs prior to your arrival date. Late cancellations and no-shows shall be charged the equivalent of the first night's accommodation. Phone cancellations are not accepted. All our bedrooms are Non-Smoking. Check-in: from 3pm. Late arrivals accepted. For non-EU citizens, a valid passport is required upon check-in. Luggage Room - A room is provided for you to leave your luggage. but please note that the hotel is not responsible for any left luggage. Please note that we only accept groups of up to 10 people via Hostelworld. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation if you book for a group larger than that. There is no age limit to stay at the hostel. We are open to travellers of all ages and families. Credit cards accepted. Since the 1st January 2011, Rome City Council has imposed a charge of €2 per person per night on tourists who visit rome. This tourist tax is unfortunately not included in the cost of your accommodation and will be added to your bill upon arrivals. Please consider this extra fee in your budget.
