Ivan is fantastic! He's so friendly, and always around to give you information, or just to have a good time.

What a fun hostel. The best thing about this place is the diverse population it brings from all over the world. It is not a place to go if you are looking for a new clean place; rather, the charm is in its worn down look. Truly a backpackers\' spot. Basic facilities. Very hot in the rooms, so ask for one of the beds that is outside.

Really nice place and Ivan is a really nice guy with a lot of funny stories.Close to the beach and pretty much everything in Rethymno.Dorms are clean and so are the washrooms and there is a nice comon area. Also you can hire cars in the town for really cheap,26 euros a day all in.Go to the pubs in the old town, much better than the ones on the beach...

Arguably one of the coolest hostels I have ever stayed in...Very comfortable, friendly, good location and so on...The nighlife is fun and near by and if you're lucky enough you might get to sit down and do a shot of vodka with Ivan!!!

the staff were fantasic...really friendly, really helpful. just willing to have a conversation. its in a good location for rethimnon, but as theres not too much in rethimnon, its probably not the best location in crete. the dorms were weird...half of them were outside, and no one ever locked the doors. and there was only one bathroom, and it was outside.
