the place was almost like staying in a nice hotel. you get what you pay for! the view is simply incredible from the back balcony as well. the only downer was the availability of food at night (since it is so far out of town, and dinner is reservation only), and a place for people to hang out and mingle and listen to music. it was really quiet and kind of awkward at night.

This was by far the best hostel we have stayed in. The rooms were hotel standard and the breakfast was extremely generous.

We went at the very end of the season but the view on a clear day was phenomenal. Odd mix of people but nice and homey place where you can sit by the fire and relax after a long day in the swiss alps.
