very friendly and hospitable people! great location as well.

The room and bathrooms were clean enough, and the staff was friendly, but the best part was the location. It was less than a 5 minute's walk from all of the sites of central florence. No extras, like breakfast or a common room, but I wasnt really looking for that when I went.

really very noisy street, we couldn't sleep 3 nights in a row....

This is more like staying in a persons large apartment rather than a hostel. The location is amazing, so close to everything, right in the middle of historical florence. The room was clean and spacious but ours did not have aircon or even a fan, very very hot. The people who owned it were friendly, but not overly sociable. The streen noise was also very bad at night, but if your a night owl you wont mind it.

We just returned from our trip to Europe. We stayed in this hostel in Florence, and we thought it was a big mistake. The Hostel was very difficult to find. There was never anyone at the "front desk" (if you could even call it that), so if you had any questions, or wanted to tell someone that there was no toilet paper in the bathrooms (which happened 2 out of the 3 days we stayed there), you couldn't. The rooms were very clean and pretty, but it was so hot, and not even a fan was given to us. We also couldn't lock our door from the inside, so while we were sleeping or just in our room, it was unlocked. It was very uncomfortable. The location is great, it is in the center of the city...but that also causes it to be EXTREMELY noisey throughout the night (street cleaners every 5 minutes, people taking down the market across the street, and setting it back up in the morning), making it very hard to get a decent rest. This hostel was definitely not worth the money we paid, and we would not recommend going here at all.
