Really loved it. Great vibe

I loved the balconies with daybeds, the garden, basement and kitchen. Lots of common areas for relaxing. Friendly hostel dog and cat! Security was lax with anyone able to get in gate, and bedroom doors never locked, but looks like safe neighborhood. I would stay here again definitely.

I was very satisfied. It was close to the heart of Tirana, and within walking distance of some very fine restaurants such as the Amsterdam. Having a balcony as well as being able to wash our clothes at no extra charge were also major advantages - particularly in light of the hot weather in early July. On the other hand, it seemed that the mattresses in my dorm had not been cleaned or replaced for some time. I have several bite marks on my arms which can be attributed to 'bed bugs'. At the end of the day however, this is a hostel to be recommended, and will make your stay in this very underrated city all the more enjoyable.

Tirana Backpacker hostel is a positiv experience. The staff and owners are young, they have the right attitude, they are sincere, and they are above average helpful and friendly. They also speak English which is a rare quality in Albania. Security is satisfactory and the hostel is centrally located with walking distance to the hearth of Tirana. I can recommend this accomodation to anyone who want to experience Albania and its people.

Very nice staff at this hostel, you feel more like in a family than in a usual hostel, the location is just 5 min from the party area and 20 min from the bus station. The hostel also organizes river rafting in the beautiful Albanian gorges. I already miss this place !
