I had never see so bad hostel, anything needs to pay money, including shower (in other hostels I lived, the hot water of shower should be free), some fees were unreasonable. Inconvenient traffic, long distance between the bedroom to toilet, it was very cold in midnight because the central heating was useless; the staff was impolite and unfriendly. I just lived in this hostel one night and then had to find other hostel although I had to pay three nights fees because I had booked three nights.

Really great value. Staff were really helpful and the place has lots of character (you have to experience drinking beers pulled from the glacier fed stream that runs through the hostel). Location is on the edge of town, but the town is so small that it's still excellent. There's a bar at the site, which can ead to a bit of loudness at nights for some rooms, but it closes at a respedctable hour, so isn't much of a concern.
