Luka is the God of Hostels

Luka is a top man. His place is about 5 to mins walk from Hvar Square, depending on level of drunkeness. He will do everything to make you enjoy your stay to the utmost. He arranges cheap bbqs because he knows the butcher personally just like everyone else in town. if you are going to catch the ferry from stari grad he will drive you there for a really cheap price. dont get the bus!

This is the place if you´re going to Hvar, Luca is the best host you can have and he will do his outmost to keep his guest happy. Location is good and there is free internett, rooms are big and clean. I will come back to this place.

Luka, the owner, is most helpful. He came to pick me up at the ferry, indicated where the sites and restaurants were in town, answered my questions on life on the island, and even prepared popcorn and beer during the European Football Cup for everyone to enjoy. Luka's Lodge is situated in a quiet residential area which is only 5 minutes walking from the center of the action. It is even possible to use the internet. I recommend Luka' Lodge to everyone that goes to Kvar. Sylvie, Canada

We would recommend Luka's lodge. Luka is a helpful and friendly guy. Room was air-conditioned (a blessing) and clean. Friendly atmosphere. Only downside is the 10 minute hike up the hill from the beach. If you are going to Hvar, don't necessarily trust the horde of people offering accommodation off the ferry. Go to Luka's or a travel agency - Lonely Planet recommends Pellegrini travel.
