Loved it- very nice indeed, and pretty friendly- the location is also good, and contrary to reports it was very easy to find.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOSTEL!! upon arriving, we were given a very rude reception. we were told to wait for the receptionists sister, who then shipped us off to an apartment away from the hostel. at no point were we given an explaination to this, despite requesting on several occassions. if they had not already demanded our full deposits, we would not have paid, due to the awful service we received. by far the worst hostel we have encountered in europe!!!

Poor directions, took 1 hour to find hostel, plus have to ascend 4 flights of stairs with luggage!! Good enough for budget trip but not much to do or see in Split.

Great place about two-minutes from the Palace and promenade. Very clean and bright. There's a little lounge area in every room plus a general one. Has a fridge and electrical hobs. Secruity is not great - no lockers and no keys to lock your room door.
