It would have been nice if the hostel offers breakfast as the food in Zurich is very expensive! The internet was a great deal and the rooms were nice.

I would actually recommend this hostel even tho8ugh my ratings for it are not that great. It is a really nice place to stay in Zurich, and even though it is on the higher end of the prices for hostels, it is a great price for Zurich. I stayed in a 2-bed mixed dorm,but actually ended up being by myself, because it was not packed and they gave me the room. The room was a normal room, but very bright, quiet, new sheets, clean, etc. The hostel itself is really far from the city centre, but get yourself an all-day pass for under 5 Euros and you will be fine! I didn't really see anyone in the hostel, just heard a couple of girls on my floor. SO I would not say it was fun or easy to meet people, compared to other places. But it is a great place to stay to relax and visit the city. P.S. Zurich is extremely expensive, so make sure you stay for a short time, or budget extra money!

Now here is one hotel to avoid. There are no vents or fans whatsoever and is unbearably hot in the summer months. Right next to a very busy road, it is extremely noisy in the sweltering rooms. The bathrooms have a no-standing-while-you-pee-if-you're-male policy. The staff is rude and creepy. Anywhere else would be better in lovely Zuerich.
