Excellent hostel if you fancy a quiet night. No social area though

We stayed in a private room. The key was labeled "biblioteca", and indeed it was a library, with a pullout couch. Pretty comfortable, actually. The place has a nice, big kitchen, and is clean and well situated.

A very nice place situated close to the old town. Very nice and quiet. We had tried to book a double bed. When we came there they did not have that but sorted it out anyway. Wonderful!

It's a school/ boarding house type place. We were a little surprised our "double room" was a sofa bed (fold out bed from lounge/couch) inside of someone's library/ office!! But it was comfortable enough and spacious, if a bit weird. Big problems with reservation: no-one could comprehend we HAD a reservation when we arrived, and you can't check in until 6pm on Friday night arrivals. When we did check-in they weren't too sure about Hostelworld bookings as they're not too internet savvy- nervous stuff. Also being it's a boarding house the staff who don't speak English are pretty defensive about you going into the Kitchen to get a bowl or use the facilities in general. I'm sure speaking Polish would make this place an easier stay With the slow bus service in Warsaw walking 1.5 km to the metro ended up being our choice to get to Central station, which is a bit of a hike with heavy bags.

Our room wasn't available when we arrived so we slept on a fold out bed in the office, which wasn't too uncomfortable, but was noisy with the staff talking outside till quite late. And whilst the hostel is close to the old town, there isn't much to do in the old town after dark and it isn't very close to the train station
