I found the hostel a little "grungy". The common room/kitchen could be larger for the size of the hostel. Shower rooms could also be larger. The location is good for walking to all the main Berlin sites. I stayed 2 nights.

Good location in bohemian Prenzlauer-Berg, lots of cafés, small shops and bars right outside and a few u-banh stops to Mitte. Very friendly staff, room was quite clean, toilets and showers little messier but still ok.

Best hostel I stayed in during my trip throughout Europe for various reasons: 1.) Not expensive for what it offers 2.) Excellent common area with kitchen, free wifi, computers, television 3.) People actually meet in the common area...makes the experience a lot more fun 4.) Convenient bike rental service, great location for going to the Bars around Schoenhauser Best Hostel Ever!!!
