The bathrooms DISGUSTING- no hand soap ANYWHERE so just imagine the diseases passed around! And don't consider taking a shower!!! Atrocious!! Around 12 and then at 2:30am the hostels clubs/bars close- then all you hear for the following hour or two are drunken IDIOTS screaming throughout the property. Its pathetic!!! If you have any activities planned - don't stay here! You don't get more then an hour of uninterrupted sleep at a time! BEWARE! We will NEVER stay here again!!!

A great gateway to the Alps, though the hostel is too big and impersonal. Full of frat boy types. Lockout from 10:30 to 4:00 is annoying and makes doinjg laundry etc difficult.

a quintesential swiss lodge in the most picturesque of settings. all the staff were super friendly, accomodating, and could help you set up any activity you were interested in. everything felt safe even without lockers. the grill was delicious for dinner and the two happy hours and downstairs dance floor made for some fun nights. just a beautiful place i would absolutely recommend.

loved the hostel for the most part. security was weak -- did not enjoy getting locked out of my room for 6 hours (although it was activity time). and the dorms were extremely cramped -- but this was all minor to me because i was having the time of my life.

The doors to our rooms didn't have locks, nor were there any place to lock your bags. The bed was uncomfortable and it was quite noisy. I got the worst night sleep of my whole three-week trip here.
