Awful place. Unsafe, tiny cramped room, no key, unfriendly, bed bugs, no security no light, noisy. I left two days early.

This hostel is the unlocked unclean and run by people who seem to be on another planet. Both my friend and I were molested by someone staying in the room with us (like he copped a feel), and the overall feeling of the place left a bad taste in our mouths about Florence, which is a hard thing to do because it is a fabulous city! We recommend Ostello Archi Rossi, super close to the train station and all the amenities of a nice hotel for only a few more euro a night than David Inn. Bottom line, STA

Very friendly & laidback if disorganised hostel. Don't bother booking through hostels.com - they didn't have our booking when we arrived. There were several free beds so you might as well just turn up. It's also cheaper per night at weekends when you pay directlyand you don't have to pay a deposit that way. The dorms don't lock so put a padlock on your suitcase just in case. The bathroom & kitchen are clean and pretty.
