The Youth Hostel San Frediano is located in the very heart of the old town. Its a beautiful building, recently restored and can host up to 140 people

***REALLY IMPORTANT*** PLEASE NOTE: if you arrive after 12:00 pm (noon) you have to reconfirm your booking with the Hostel by phone or e-mail. Please note, if you are not a Member of Hostelling International there is an extra charge of €3 per person per night. Once you have stayed 6 nights at a HI Hostel you become a HI member, and no extra charges apply for future stays. RESERVATIONS WITH DEBIT CARDS ARE NOT ACCEPTED

What a unique place.I absolutely loved it and it made our visit to Lucca.It was right inside the town wall in an old closter and is very close to the Roman Ampitheater which is the center of night life.Next time we are in Lucca we will stary there again. joseph, from USA ~ 25th Aug 2011
