First backpackers' hostel in Makarska is located in the very heart of the city. It is in safe, clean and quiet neighborhood. The waterfront area is just 100 meters away and the beach is less then 10 minutes walking. Nice and peaceful, with friendly atmosphere it is your home away from home. Run by traveler who can give you all info you need about Croatia.

Hostel has 10 dorm beds and few private double bed rooms which are located in the family house. It is very quiet place with big garden. One of very few places were you can feel silence, hear a bird's song and in fact sleep in the very city center.

Superb hostel, staff really nice and friendly, really clean. Complimentary home-made shot given to you upon arrival aswell!! Would definately come back and use this hostel again in the future. Lapptop readily available for use aswell. Benjamin, from England ~ 4th Aug 2011

The hostel was located within walking distance to the city center, so very nice location. It was a bit hard to find it though, but local people are very helpful! We were welcomed with a home made liquor.Nice staff, welcoming and helpful. Also a parking place for the car inside the hostel. The personal room for 2 was good sized and clean.
