Hostel The Globe is situated in the Red Light District and overlooks one of the famous canals of Amsterdam. It is only a 3 minute walk from the Central Station. The hostel has twin, triple and quadruple rooms as well as big and small dorms to offer.

This was the best hostel that we stayed in during our whole trip. It is very close to Central station in a quite corner of the Red light district of Amsterdam. We stayed for 4 nights in a 6 bed private dorm with ensuite. It was clean, secure and quite at night. The staff were all excellent. There is a public bar downstairs with a large smoking room. There are pool tables and TV's. We definitely recommend this hostel. Gideon, from Australia ~ 7th Nov 2009
