Like the other reviews said, this place is tough to find. Even with the address in chinese, some cab drivers had a hard time finding it... however with that said this was one of the more unique hostels i stayed at while in china. Very cool old court yard and in a very 'real' neighborhood. I would highly suggest renting a bike to get around. Its a far walk from most sights (but then again almost everything in Beijing is a far walk). The staff were great. They helped me look up train sched Andrew, from USA ~ 8th Sep 2009

This place is simply fantastic as too are the staff. It is as good as anywhere I've stayed (and this is my 5th time around the world). Very friendly and a real home from home feel. Can't speak highly enough. Staff are great for advise too. Would defo stay here again and will recommed to others. Arif, from England ~ 4th Sep 2009
