Lake Lodge Iseltwald dans Interlaken, Switzerland

Very nice reception and bar staff, very nice and accommodating; however. The beds weren't actually beds, just 2-inch thick foam mattresses on the ground, separated by a 1-inch piece of plywood. No exaggeration; when you lie on a bed, you're basically lying on the ground, and the next person's face is about a foot away from yours. Very very far from Interlaken, but the free bus is nice. The bus, however, stops running at 8pm, and there is NOTHING to do in Iseltwald. Anne, from Canada ~ 2nd Sep 2009

Located in a beautiful village, but be careful, only one bus per hour going to interlaken and last bus home at 20 (but bus is free), but we didn't really mind this. The private room was big, with a sink in the room, and a nice balcony. Not the best guest kitchen i've seen, but sufficient. I wouldn't call their breakfast a breakfast though, only one slice of bread and a cup of coffee/tea. Amanda, from Sweden ~ 26th Jul 2009
