Au sujet de River Lodge

The River Lodge is situated on the river shore of the 'Aare', opposite the Interlaken-Ost railway station, next to the centre of the village. You will reach the River Lodge in just 7 minutes walking distance from the railway station. We offer 1 - 4 bed rooms with communal kitchen for use. There are lots of ways to relax in our lounge or in the beautiful garden, which is surrounding the Lodge. We offer 24 hours access for registered guests. We also have a booking desk for outdoor activities and excursions at the reception. Kayaks and canoe rental, fireplace, washing machine and dryer, playground are just some of the things you will find in our River Lodge.

decent place. beautiful view of the river right outside your door. close to the station and walking distance to everything else. didnt have much of a hostel feel tho since the actual rooms were more like motel rooms with 4 beds. its a camping place and a good location for tents and camping. large kitchen but you pay a deposit for EVERYHING. if you want to PARTY this might not be the place. it was very quiet. Super soft beds. Really awesome hostel. Informed hostel of late arrival, and the staff were more than willing to accommodate our needs. Bathrooms were very clean. Being directly off of the water, the kitchen had a great flock of flies flitting about...though tolerable. The staff was very helpful in giving us information on things to do in Switzerland. If anything just stay here for the amazing river-front view of the mountains. Gorgeous! Carrie, from USA ~ 1st Jul 2009
