Babylon Guest House dans Vang Vieng, Laos

Nice place, large rooms with quite hard beds but reckon that is with all guesthouses in Laos. Not a lot going on in the evening but it's nice to chill in the TV area. Free internet is a bonus. Good location away from the noise, but as with almost all of Vang Vieng - it's only a 5 minute walk to the nearest bar blurting out the latest Europop if you want it. There seemed to be a permanent contingent of Scandinavians watching movies and re-runs of Family Guy downstairs - they were either stoned or dead, but seemed friendly either way. Bed was rock hard which I liked (but my better half doesn't) and staff were verging on rude which doesn't bother me too much either. Pretty good for the m Anne-Marie, from England ~ 8th Feb 2009
