The place is terrific and the staff was highly responsive to quests' needs. Guests tend to be highly social and on a Sunday night partying goes on well beyond midnight. The only concern would be that everybody in the hostel hears well when the doorbell goes on. Andrei, from Russia ~ 9th Nov 2009

I have stayed in many hostels around the world from Singapore to LA and dozens of cities in-between, but Bairro Alto Travelers is by far the best I have ever stayed at, which goes for friendliness, character, security, location - everything!
