Something's got to be fishy with all of these great reviews because this place is NOT all that. It feels like a spiffed up homeless shelter. THe location is excellent and it's certainly not a bad hostel. But it's not a rave either. Coils poking through mattress into your back, loads of noise, no curtains on the windows, crappy breakfast...don't be fooled, there are much better places in Madrid. Still, if you crave a party location, this is a good one. Tom, from USA ~ 24th Nov 2009

Wobbly beds, duvet covers only after urgent request, general atmosphere rather sober, area quite loud at night, lockers can't be locked, personal safe costs one euro per usage. Price is o.k., but wouldn't go there again. Martin, from Germany ~ 22nd Nov 2009
