!!DIRECTIONSTO!! Aguycan Beach, Gran Canaria
We are located 35 km south of the the airport. You can get to us rather simple by either taxi or the bus. The bus (No.66) departs directly infront of the upper level departure terminal, every hour at 20 past the hour. It takes about 25min to get to us. Tell the driver you want to go to Playa del Aguila (aa-gi-la) or Morro besudo. This is the 2nd stop not including the airport bus stop on the highway.
When you get off the bus it will seem as if you are in the middle of nowhere. Cross the road and follow the bus, walking about 25m until you get to the corner (stop sign). Take a left and pass through the small tunnel; here you have two options...you can follow the road walking completely around the circle or you can cross the road here. If you cross the road: take the second road on your right which will lead you up a small hill. Cross the road to the left hand sidewalk. The first complex you come to consists of a few red & black buildings, continue & you will see our tennis court...take the next left (this is the first left you come to) walk down the hill & your first entry way you come to is ours. It is a big white & green complex with big letters in green over the door 'Aguycan Beach'.
If you followed the sidewalk around the circle: you will pass a child playground, a huge pink building, beach access car park (parking lot) & taxi stand continue on the sidewalk and follow the road up the hill, as described above.
If you are too lazy to walk uphill or want to take the scenic route, cross the car park down to the beach and head to the right hand side end of the beach to our back door!
If you decide on a taxi, we can arrange one for you or you can very easily catch one in front of the airport. Tell the driver, Aguycan Beach in Playa del Aguila.The street is called 'Calle Las Azucenas' (Cai-je las aa-zu-senas).
