Hostel of Taiwanmex is a friendly, affordable backpacker hostel in central Taipei. We have clean and comfortable accommodation comprising a range of private rooms and dormitories. Room features include air conditioning and wireless internet access, and bed linen is provided. The 4-bed private room is a small, independent apartment with its own bathroom, kitchen, air conditioning, PC and television.
We are located just 1 minute from ZhongShan MRT Station and ten minutes from the main Taipei railway and bus stations. We are also well connected by local buses, meaning that a number of popular attractions are within easy reach, including the Night Market, the Taipei World Trade Center, PeiTou Hot Springs, DanShui and even the beach. The area surrounding the area has plenty of shops, banks and eateries.
We offer free luggage storage, laundry facilities and drinking water, and complimentary coffee is provided in the mornings. Staff are multilingual and can meet you at Taipei Main Station or ZhongShan MRT Station to help you find the hostel more easily.
Our property is divided between two floors. The upper floor has a cat, so please let us know in advance if you suffer from allergies and would rather stay on the lower floor (note: lower floor rooms do not have windows).

We have made sure our location is within walking distance of the main station (10 minutes) as we know that people don't want to worry about navigating an unfamiliar bus or subway system when they first arrive.
So When you arrive at Taipei Main Station please call Taiwanmex and we will meet you at Zhongshan MRT Station and Bring you back to Taiwanmex.
We wanted to locate our Guest House in a very quiet and very safe area because we know that peace & quiet is the most important thing for guests. There is a Monetary and a Church on our street and it is very calm.
You are coming to one of the most exciting shopping and nightlife districts in Taipei with every opportunity to easily and conveniently walk from our guest house to, for example: a minute to Zhongshan Underground Shopping Mall or a minute to Taipei Art Museums or a minute to the three of the Department Store Mitsukoshi or 5 minutes walk on the same street as the Famous Qsquare Department Stores or 30 second walk from one of the earliest opening and latest closing juicebar/cafe's BEST GOURMET COFFEE & DESSERT shop in all of Taipei !!
