Plus Camping Jolly offers comfortable dormitory rooms, en-suite cabins and house tents, all with linen provided.

Onsite facilities include a pizza restaurant and snack bar, a swimming pool, a fitness area, an internet café, a supermarket, laundry, luggage storage and the Jolly House Pub.

We are only 20 minutes from the main island of Venice by public transport, although we also offer a private shuttle bus.

Hostels.com description said they they have multiple shuttles (it seemed hourly!) from the hostel location to Venice and that t would be very easy to access tourist sites. It only had 3 shuttles - leaving in the morning, coming back at night. We arrived mid afternoon and were stuck until the next day - THEN all the shuttles were already full. We had to pay for public transportation which took us 45 minutes each way and needed us to walk down strange dark alleyways and underpasses at night. Amy, from USA ~ 22nd May 2012

Camping Jolly has excellent cheap bungalows! AC, fridge, linen, shower with warm water and a toilet, it's all there. It's said to be a dorm, but I was by myself, although the bungalows were all booked.. (bed next to me was empty?) The tents are poor quality, if you've had a bungalow. No AC or other things (obviously) and mosquito's could freely fly in. The shared showers don't have hot water, and it's dirty. The camping is in between highways, so bring earplugs.
