About Citystation Hostel

Citystation is a comfortable little hostel in the center of the city of Halle, near the train station and very close to all ammenities.

Halle is very old university town with a lot of sights. You can visit the Collections of the Franckesche Stiftungen, the old fortress Moritzburg built in the 15th century and the State Gallery of Moritzburg.

You can make a trip to the castle Burg Giebichenstein or the old chocolate museum. Morover, every year the city is host to the International Handel-Festival.

I was sceptical at first, since there was only one review on this hostel, and a very negative one. But the place turned out to be all right. There's even a barbecue area behind the house and staff are very helpful. Breakfast is not included and costs an extra 4 EUR. They arranged a mini version of a buffet breakfast, which was really nice. Bed linen - if you don't bring your own - costs 3 EUR for the whole stay. Maria, from Germany ~ 27th May 2011
