Its like a hotel than a hostel, you barely have chance to talk to other backpackers. plus the price of internet is outrageous (8eur/hr). excellent location and very helpful staff though. since there are not much choice in helsinki id say it still worths a try. We arrived on 1th of January, maybe that was the problem. But from my point of view that is no reason why the floor in our room was dirty: means for example I found cutted nails under the table and they were definitly not mine. In the men´s washroom was still one washbasin full of already dried puke. The toilets at the women´s really disgusting. Verena, from Austria ~ 9th Jan 2012
