Academy Hostel is a stylish new hostel in a central location in Florence, next to the Duomo and close to the Museum dell'Accademia. We are housed on the first floor of a seventeenth-century palace, within a short walk of all the city's attractions, as well as bars, clubs and restaurants.
We are a small property with accommodation for just 24 guests in private rooms and dormitories, all equipped with air conditioning, lockers, WiFi and linen. Facilities include a lobby with LCD television, a terrace, luggage storage and laundry. Breakfast is included in the rates.
CONDITIONS :
Check-In / Check-Out -Check-In is between 2pm to 12pm, NO EARLY Check-In before 2pm. You can use lounge and store your luggage until your check-In with no additional charge. If you are going to be late, please advise us or your reservation could be can canceled. We require valid passport for all guests from outside the European community upon check-In. (Id-card for European countries)
Check-Out is strictly before 11am. You can use lounge and store your luggage until 8pm with no additional charge. For check-out bring to front desk your night lamp and key of the locker
RULES OF THE HOSTEL -
For your protection and for the protection of fellow travelers
- No guests are permitted inside the rooms.
- No food is allowed in the rooms and it is forbidden to bring any
food or drinks from outside.
- Our facilities are all NO SMOKING, except on terrace
- Common areas are open from 7am to 11 a.m. and from 14 p.m.
to 23 p.m.
- The hostel CLOSES from 11 a.m to 14 p.m for cleaning, all
guests are asked to leave during that period.
- Please refrain from making loud noises
- Keep your valuables on your person or leave them to us and
we can assure them in our safe.
- Common areas and rooms must be left as they were found.
- NO CURFEW

PAYMENT : The outstanding amount is payable to the property directly upon your arrival.
Credit cards are accepted but only over 150.00 euros of accommodation costs.
CANCELLATION: Cancellations must be notified directly to the accommodation provider at least 72 hours prior to arrival; unless otherwise stated above. If a cancellation is requested, your card will be charged for the first nights accomodation. In the event of a NO SHOW, your card will be charged for the first nights accommodation total.
MODIFICATIONS TO BOOKING:
For any changes to an existing reservation, please contact the accommodation provider directly. Modifications to the booking will not be allowed upon arrival unless it enters the 72 hour period. If any changes will be made there will be a fine , the cost of a days accommodation.
MINIMUM 2 NIGHTS POLICY : Please be informed that the hostel has a minimum two nights policy. Cancelations on the first night will not be allowed as a modification to your booking.
Expiration of credit card : Should your credit card expire or your credit card details change prior to arrival, please contact the accommodation provider directly with the amended details.
